Our Story
Her side:
I met John the summer before I transferred to Cal State Fullerton (Go Titans!) I was very excited to finally be going to “real college”. But before I got there I had a full summer planned of vacations with family and friends. I had been a little jaded from dating and was excited to take a break and make memories with those to close to me.
While working at Chipotle I found out from my manager that I would be training John. I had known very little of John except for the fact that all the girls would swoon over him whenever he came in to grab a bite. I even tried to see if another crew member could train John instead, but my manager wouldn’t let me and said she thought we would make a cute couple, to which I rolled my eyes (You were right Jeannie! Thank you ). I didn’t plan on falling in love with John, as it’s not something that can be planned, but I did and I fell hard. He means the absolute world to me and I can’t imagine my life without him. Thank you John for being everything I need and more.
His side:
I met Katie at an incredibly frustrating time in my life. I had just graduated from college with little to no plans. I was financially troubled and generally bitter. I thought enjoying my last summer would be the vacation I had been dreaming of, but after a few weeks I began going stir crazy. I managed to get employed at Chipotle on a whim, a glancing comment like "You guys need any help? I'm super bored at home" got me hired on the spot. From the moment I was told Katie would be my trainer, I knew she was in trouble. I met a girl wearing a baseball cap with her pony tail shooting out the back - with virtually zero interest in me. But in my eyes, I had found the most beautiful woman. Katie had given me her cell phone number at the end of our training (3 days), on the condition that I contact her only if I needed to trade shifts. I naturally began texting her immediately. She actually didn't respond back to me until the following week when I poked fun at her phone usage, or lack there of. After checking her schedule, and grabbing something to eat, Katie went out to her car. In the parking lot, she responded to my text message with: "Are you happy now?"
